My horse has been diagnosed with Proximal Suspensory Desmitis in both hind legs. I want to get the Ice Vibe boots but I am not sure whether to go for the hock ones or the normal leg ones.

From what I have researched, PSD seems to affect the area just below the hock - which both boots sort of cover!

Any advice helpful!

I thought you wanted to try and increase blood flow for ligament damage as they have a poor blood supply? I used magnetic boots on mine when he had psd.

In my experience both are really good items to have in your 'toolkit'.

I use Bioflow boots overnight for my horses arthritis and they do an excellent job of dispersing fluid which can build in his lower fetlocks as they tend to get filled when stood in a long time in the stable. I also have IceVibe for his suspensory branch injury. Icevibe is useful to put on prior to exercise or turnout, as Stencilface says they create better circulation as well as loosening the tendons and ligaments. After exercise or turnout (depending on the horses programme) they can be used in concjuction with the ice wraps to cool as well as vibrate. Both are useful tools, and I wouldn't be without either to be honest. I feel Icevibe have definitely helped with my horses branch injury as did the huge amounts of applications of ice therapy in the form of ice cupping at the beginning when his injury was first diagnosed.
