Hi

Which do you think is the best bridle make between Stubbin and Jeffries? I'm looking to get a new one and i can't decide.

Or have a forgot a good make?

Thank you

I just bought a GFS one (to match my saddle) and it is lovely. Nice soft leather and also a nice looking bridle.

Jeffries over stubben any day of the week.

My friend had about 3 Jefferies bridles which all stretched

- not what you want when you're paying £££! I've got an Amerigo and I absolutely love it, had a CTD before (which I think is the same mob at Stubben) and it was a nice bridle as well. Happy shopping!

i love Collegiates, really good quality, soft leather mmm yum but one day maybe a nice albion will change my mind (need to match my saddle when im rich

The Jefferies IR is beautiful. I would choose that over the Stubben anyday. However it was no good for my horse as she needs an x full head and browband with full size cheeks and noseband. They weren't prepared to sell me one like that so I bought another Elevator instead.

don't mind my jeffries but not as good as I expeceted withing 12 months of light show use it has stretched significantly, most noticeable on the hunter noseband which is now a bit baggy.

prob wouldn't buy another one.

Jeffries for me. You can buy all parts seperately so if anything gets broken you can replace it without buying a whole new bridle. I have not noticed my jeffries bridles stretching, but I did buy a pair of pony cheek peices to use with bits with bigger rings/cheeks ie myler combination.

I spent hours looking for a comfort style bridle that doesn't have a crank noseband. I know that's not what you asked but I'm telling you anyway! The only one I could find was the GFS Humane http://www.frogpool.com/product-5921.htm

It is a very nice bridle and looks smart. However, I am kind of regretting not getting another Stubben and then buying a comfort headpiece for it because the 5 year old Stubben bridle I already have for other horse is as soft as butter and still in really good condition.

I'm sure the GFS will get softer with time but it is still quite rigid.

I love my new Sabre bridle, though horse has never had an 'expensive' bridle before so the novelty migth wear off!!
Nice bridle though, am just scared to get it dirty!!
