Half pad? Full?

I am confuddled...

I have (had!) a nice Nuumed Hi half sheepskin dressage saddle cloth, but the nice saddler has made the Albion cross country saddle fit the Dizzy one - she'd prefer it to have a decent cloth underneath though for the next few weeks whilst Dizz changes shape (lots of muscling and stretching work going on).

Any suggestions? And in a sale would be even better

iv got one but i cannot think of the brand haha, begins with an L i know that!! i want to say luemex but that sounds like a printer haha, anyway they are rely nice and only bout £40-£50.

i have a lovely nuumed hi-wither half pad which i got for xmas (thanx to my little sis) which is fab, its not too thick and is washable in the machine and my big man seems to prefer it to these others i have

pink roma merino half wool square which is great as the wool is really soft and squishy but it sheds everywhere

and a bartl half pad which is really thick but comes up nice and fluffy when washed in the machine and put in the tumble dryer on a cold setting, and hasnt shrunk

i only use the half pad/half wool as the saddle i have has close contact panels

I've got two of the Roma Merino Wool ones and they are fab.
Mine havent shed at all, I think it is the cheaper range that might shed.
They wash well and come up new everytime.

I also have a Stephens one (in pink!) I wont use as it is too thick and alters my saddle fit too much.

i have a nuumed hiwither, half sheepskin numnah, and it is fab had it for 2 years and still like new just bung it in the washing machine and comes up lovely. it has been fantastic for my gelding who comes up in lumps with normal numnahs (regardless of the washing powder used)

i am going to by one for my mare now. if you go on the nuumed site they have a sale section and there are some good bargains in there

Ooooh thanks Gwen I'm going to look at the sale now

MrsM I would recommend a roma one if you only need it for a few weeks as they are a lot cheaper! We had one from Badminton a couple of years ago and its lasted really well and I can't remember it shedding
