Which joint supplements do you use, why and how good do you rate them?

Hi there,

There are so many joint supplements out there and I was wondering what ones you use and how much of a difference have they made to your horse?

I've recently sold my horse but in the process of buying another, I'm looking to start doing a lot more competition work but want to make sure whatever horse I do end up getting I keep there joints healthy and to the best they can be. I've read a bit about NAF's joint supplement range and they sound quite good but can be on the pricy side!

When i bought my horse he was on newmarket joint supplement, the owner uses this for all her horses and always has, I however put him on some different and cheaper ones and ive had nothing but problems in the last year, bone spavin, stifles, tendon etc, it may not be anything to do with the supplement but im not taking any chances and hes going straight back on it!!

I use codlivine supple joint formula. It's really good, and not insanely expensive either. Highly recommended by me.
