Could someone please suggest a good pair of leather knee boots suitable for hacking out a TB. I currently have a pair of Sportabac which are fab, except the inside lining is starting to come apart and don't think they will last much longer. Don't mind cleaning leather ones and I'm thinking if properly looked after they will last much longer. Have had a quick look on ebay but cant seem to find any good leather ones suitable for hacking!

not leather as I always found them really fiddly in winter. We use westropps, they are about 6 years old now and still going. One has been repaired with a dog collar when it slipped whilst cantering (wasnt tight enough as they dont normaly)

To protect your horse's knees well you really need leather. They are expensive to buy new, I think Jeffries are around £80 mso have a look on ebay for used ones. I have bought several pairs in really good condition really cheaply from there. Good Luck
