My Toggi Canyon's have lasted me just over a year, and considering I wear them every day I can't really complain.

I would however, like to spend a bit more money and get some long country type boots that are going to last. I have looked at some of the Ariats, but wonder if they are actually worth the money? I also like the look of some of the Dublin boots, does anyone have these?

I have some Mark Todd Country Boots, which have lasted an amazing three winters! I walk the dog in them, do yard work and ride. They are so comfy and very warm (I have super-cold feet.) and look equally good with jeans or breeches. They also do a wide calf option which suits my chunky legs!

I got mine from this website and they usually have one of the best prices for them,

Forget Dublin, won't last over a year. I will never be without my mountain horse high riders, but they're not a country boot, they really are a riding boot. First pair lasted 6 years and just as I bought a new pair and said I would keep my old comfys for spares and comfy times - the zip went and bust on me :o

Toggi Suffolk boots all the way. Best linings every, none of that nasty nylon stuff that tears.
Had mine for 2 years now and they still look like new

Wow they're pretty cheap! Cheaper than my Toggis that only lasted a year!

What's the fit like on the suffolks? I've got quite chunky calfs and boots either seem to be a bit too small or a bit too big! Both annoying.

I've got ariat windrush boots and I can't complain, had them well over a year now too.

If you're interested equestrian clearance have the Windermere boots for £89.99 at the minute.

I would recommend ariats or mountain horse, you can get the zips fixed when they go, I've had my mountain horse sportives for over 8yrs and have had the zips replaced as the soles and uppers are still good. DH has high riders and won't wear anything else for yard work or riding.

Yes they are! Had mine for a few years and they are still going well

i've just bought some mark todd country boots, saw them advertised on a horsey facebook group for £95 including postage. Think there's still some left :)

I would Forget any Footwear made by Dublin;)

:p ;) I appear to possess the only pair of boots by Dublin that have remained waterproof, stitched up and the lining is still perfect after 3 years of almost daily use. :D

Going on their performance I would, will, and have, bought another pair - which are sitting in a box awaiting their turn, they may have quite a wait the old pair are now nicely worn in and still going strong. :D

I also have no problems with my dublin boots. I've had them 3 years and they have had some hard use as I dislike wellies. They get cleaned and waterproofed once in a blue moon and they are still going strong. I'll happily get another pair.

They must have come out of the Dublin Rocking Horse Poo Factory:D
