Hi there,

Something of a lurker on here so go gently with me :)

To cut a long story short I'm an osteopath working in the Solihull area looking to promote the idea that riders need to look after their own backs as well as their horses. I was thinking of contacting a magazine local to the midlands area and seeing if they would run an article/ad etc for me.

So my question is what, if any, mags do people read?? A quick internet search seem to to throw up a couple of possibilities such as central horse news, but as I've kinda of been "out" of the horsey circuit since selling mine a few yrs ago a more up to date opinion would be most appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts :)

I only read Central Horse News now after cutting back on the national mags. Plenty of info in there about local horse-related businesses, health issues, events and competitions, plus stuff on the national suppliers of feed, bedding, clothing etc. I don't really know of any other local mags that cover your area so it might be worth trying local tack shops and buying copies of what they have to see if you like them.
