After binning 3 pairs of wellies in the last 2 weeks I am in desperate need of some new wellies. The only pair I have left do not keep my feet warm at all (and probably arent far behind the other 3)

Having done some googling i see the muckboots come recommended so have decided to give these a go.

However there are some many different ones (but they all look the same to me! just a slightly different price)

So my question is which ones to get..

Muckboot Derwent
Muckboot Tack
Muckboot Trent
Muckboot Avon
Muckboot Tyne
And several more......

Arrgg there's so many!

So which ones would you go for? Or please recommend an alternative pair that aren't going to break the bank. Have seen ROK ones for a good price but no idea of quality?

Advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks =)

I've got a pair of Seeland all round neoprene wellies. I bought them in store from Scats but Mole Valley Farmers have them online. Very similar in style to Aigles etc. I'm very happy with mine - comfortable to wear and the best bit is they fit my ample calves :D

Gosh - didn't realise they did so many now! I have the original ones from the Muck Boot Company and am in my 5th year. I was thinking tonight that I may treat myself to a new pair next year just because the neoprene is getting a bit tatty where I've got caught in brambles etc!

Just go for whichever are cheapest - don't think you can go wrong and these guys http://www.jccountry.co.uk/acatalog/Muck_Boot_Company.html have a sale on!

Esk's. They have the best sole for grip. i've just bought my third pair, the last ones lasted nearly two years and I live in them. Fantastic boots.

I have the tynes. This is the 3rd winter I've had them for, and the right one is just starting to leak a tiny bit as I hose all the mud off. I love them and will definitely be getting another pair when this pair give up the ghost. I wore them all summers too, so they have had plenty of wear. Only slight downside is, as they are designed for riding in, they don't have the best grip when it is really icy.

I might keep these for summer when there's no mud, and get a new pair for when its wet and horrible.

I've got some muckers that were about 35 quid I think. Think the brand is something like 'HKM sports' or similar. Anyway they're fab and very very comfortable :)

Thanks, Il have a looks at the seeland ones (though I've got big feet so quite often boots are a bit too wide on my legs) and at the HKM muker ones

Has anyone heard of 'dirt boot' Look like a cheaper imitation of the muckboots?

hesitant to spend so much on a pair of wellies though I guess you get what you pay for and I will be wearing them everyday!

I have Tack ones atm but have had Derwent in the past and both great.

I think just read through the features, some have little extras and choose which one is best for you :)

They're a great brand I love mine :D

I've had my derwent's since October '11 and they've been fab, still going strong with daily wear, possibly the warmest boots I've owned (beat my leather country boots, 1 paid of which has a nice fluffy lining)

Will definitely invest in another pair when these die on my, although looks like it's going to be a while off which makes my overdraft happy!

I used to swear by muck boots but have noticed they have changed the sole material, which wears down a lot more quickly.

My old pair lasted 3 yrs, but wore down the soles on the new ones in 6mnths, and after slipping over in them on several occasions had to throw them out.

The Rok ones are just a cheap imitation and don't stand up to the job so wouldn't go for those.
