its made by an equestrian brand and for sale in an equestrian store? i thought it wouldve been fine?
if its made for horses then why is it not something they can have?
because it is a traditional feed? people dont always have the best motives and will sell anything there is a market for! it isnt likely to do actual harm but as it is a source they wouldnt normally find its questionable in terms of how well they can digest it- would you feed your horse fish?
anecdotally there have been lots of reports of it sending horses loopy that it doesnt agree with as well
that said i would take the advice from feed sales people with a pinch of salt- the baileys woman came to pony club camp and advised that every horse there (about 40) from proper kiddies ponys to novice eventers wanted to be on lo cal and nothing else...
