Which one do i sell? its costing me too much!

I have come to the conclusion that i have to sell one of my 4 horses as money is seriously tight and getting worse, so which do i sell.
1. 12hh 4yr old Section A ..... with coloured filly foal at foot.
or
2. 15hh 4 yr old Section D gelding, county standard.

I really didnt want to sell either at the moment but ireally have no choice now, this awful weather means they are in more than they are out, and its crippling me.
advise needed please .

I would have thought number two is more salable -it is a buyers market at the moment I'm afraid. I can understand your situation - I have taken the decision to bring my 5 down to 3 :-(

I would say if you sell your welsh you still have 2 but if you sell the mare and foal you have got rid of 2 but i would say it depends which one you do most with

I just love Welsh Ds and they are so versatile. That is defo the one I would keep.

You'd probably get more money for the Welsh D, but it also depends on which one you get most use out of and which one you could bear to part with.

Hi Mrs M.
The fourth is not an option she is a section c mare that is naughty, cheeky, stroppy, not that good in traffic even though she is ridden at least 3 times a week, runs off with you when jumping, and is 27 yrs young. She was my first pony and have had her for 25 yrs. No one woild have her!!! Bless she is a star.
I love the section D to bits and he is 100% all the time but he was bought to break in ,train and sell so i suppose i should just bite the bullet, but i will be so sad to see him go.

Not really an option as i have my own private stables but no school to use. also had 2 bad experiances with loaning an old pony a few years ago, also very much need the money from the sale.
This is so difficult especially as both have been such stars today.

Ah, but times change - if you need a cash injection then yes, the D; but if the mare and foal are not doing more than contemplating life with you then they should go to someone else.

Not easy hun I know. I've hung onto LL by the skin of my teeth and he's a g!t and of little use to us, other than teaching daughter about handling a sometimes stroppy little so and so.

Maybe advertise both and see which one goes first?
