Hes going out on loan hun. Was never the plan to keep him as im too big long term. Plan was to back him, produce him and loan him out until i have kids of my own to have him :) either way, im keeping him close, this boys with me for life!
 
Oh J, it all seems like dejavu again. You had all this with your mare and then she went, the the TB and now him. :(
 
well time to start packing some fun and happy memories into it!!! and now that you can drive if you are ever bored and want to ride you can come and ride my hooligans!!! :)
 
The first one. In the second pony isn't squared up nicely and you are um .... way too big for this pony so the ridden one looks bad.

Well, his leg is the most retarded thing I've ever seen and he hoons around and ends up on 3 legs BUT he still has a way to go anyhow so fingers crossed. They said at least 6 - 9 months before he comes sound and he had the surgery mid April. He is still pretty lame on it as to be expected but they said operation was 70 - 80% successful and that should just solve the problem. I think we will wait until Spring before doing anything with him, even if vets say he is sound before, as that seems most sensible.

On the plus side, he is nice (bolshy but means well!), appears to be pretty much bombproof and I think would also hack alone. If he does come good I'll be sure to let you know! :)

Pony is still super cute btw. :p
 
Then hes worth it. How does your mum feel about it, must have been gutting for her. But do let me know :)

The 2nd one is the best of a bad bunch. TBH I wouldn't use any of them, I'd take some more but when I'm looking to buy I always want to see a confo shot. I'll see the horse moving when/if I go to view.
