Which Rat Poison?

So the little darlings seem to think they are moving into my barn for the winter I have been putting out some difenacoum wheat granules but someone has just told me that most of the rats in the area are resistant to this!! So which is the best poison to use?

same here! i need something which will kill the rats but not harm my dogs.... im thinking only traps will do.

Risking a barrage of "I don't care, it's a rat!"s - poison is a truly awful way for any animal to die. Please consider traps (but not glue traps! lol)

Have tried in the past and although the bait went we never caught a single one!! We also have 4 feral cats but they apparently don't deign to venture to the stable yard from their barn over the other side of the house so are no help!
