Which riding hat?

Was wondering if anyone could advise me on what riding hats are most popular just now as I have been out of the competition scene for a few years! Looking to mainly do dressage so must be suitable for this and also some one day events. Was thinking of the GPA hats but think they are maybe just for SJ?? x

make sure whatever you choose is properly kitemarked etc. some of the new sttyle ones arent up to proper standards

If you want to do ODE's you will need a skullcap for the xc section, fixed peaks are not permitted for cross country.

I think the GR8 ones look really nice, got all the standards you could shake a stick at & don't loom large on yer head!

I would get a skull cap and a nice velvet cover as they can be used for everything.

Get a vented skull cap with removeable head and chin pads. They don't boil your head and are easier to stop from smelling like a dead rat!
