Which rug for my yearling?

She doesnt NEED a rug as she lived out all last year without one - however, she was OUT, not in her box, and sometimes she will need to be in her box this year. I don't want to rug her when shes out but I do wanna rug her in her box. Not sure whether to go for fleece rug, or a cooler?

Why are you rugging her when she's in and not out?

Surely if she is out in the wind and rain with nothing, she wouldn't need anything when inside where it is warmer?

Personally i would buy a fleece as keeps them warmer.

I had the Rambo fleece for my Yearling, it was very warm but a bit pricey at £60 but it lasted well and I've just sold it second hand for £45 so it holds its price well if you want to sell it on.

Because when she comes in, shes not moving around so shes not keeping warm. She'll also be stood still whilst all the water evaporates off of her and makes her cold. Thinking fleece, as when shes wet it can take the wet off of her, and when its cold she can just have it on as a little topper. Thanks all, think fleece is the way to go!
