Gave my horse a high trace clip this morning.

It's going to be 9 degrees tonight and a bit blowy and I'm not sure which rug to turn her out in tonight. I don't normally clip so I'm not sure how to rug for the weather.

Lite (no fill) combo or medium (200g) combo rug?

totally depends on how warm your horse usually is!
For my mare (runs hot) I usually go up a weight straight after clipping as I have suddenly whipped a load of hair off so I like to put a warmer rug on so it isn't a big change.
If she were mine (just to be akward!) then I would put my 100g rug on. A lightweight keeps the wind and rain off, but makes no difference to temp. My girl would cook in a 200g, but if yours isn't such a hot sort then it might be perfect!

My WBxTB's got a trace clip and she's out tonight in just a light weight rug, as are a couple of cobby types at the yard. Others with hunter clips are in medium weights.
But we're in Devon and it's not too bad weatherwise (yet). Like others have said, a lot depends on what your horse's field is like (shelter, hedges, etc) and how warm he is naturally.
