which rug?

Mine has developed some small lumps under the skin right in the middle of his chest just above where the front strap of the rug sits, they were caused by his new fleece with attachments like the ones on the cross surcingles so am not using that one at the moment!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to any rugs, particulary fleeces that are a good fit around the chest for cob types, and definetely none of those attachments! He wears a bib to prevent rubs but not too sure how to get rid of them as he's clipped out so needs to wear his rugs really!

I find that fleeces slip back and pull on the chest so never use them as an under rug, just to do the job as a cooler when needed.
I have several different types, Weatherbeeta, Saxon and Horseware to name a few, I cannot remember what others I have. I think they all have buckle fastenings.
