My mare will be living out this winter, as she has a field shelter, plenty of grazing and my shetland for company. I'm hoping not to have to clip her, but if i do she'll only need a bib.
I would like to know if there are any particular turn out rugs that people can recommend, which are likely to last through the constant rain mud and snow etc? She's quite a hot horse, so if she isnt clipped I think she would survive quite happily in a middle weight through the winter. How ever I'd like a heavy weight for her aswell, Just incase.
Shes cob x wb and very wide!
Any ideas/recommendations?
Cheers

I second Weatherbeta, my lad has huge movement and the freestyle copes with it without ripping because it has vents in each side. It is hardy and good price and quality.

Mark Todd are also good.
