as above really. ive been advised by my saddle fitter to invest in a saddle pad. one in which acts as a shock absorber mostly and to minimise the movement in her saddle untill she builds her topline back up.
ive narrowed it down to 2 but still cant decide ?!!!

prolite is one, which i do like the look of and is well recomended
http://www.prolitepads.com/products/reliefpads/reliefpads.htm

and then there is the also highly rated Acavallo gel pad
http://www.equinehealthuk.com/acavallo-shaped-gel-pad-162.phtml

price isnt really an issue i just want to make sure i get the best for my money
or if theres another that ive missed and should look at please say lol

oh and saddle will be checked again for fit once i decide which pad lol:D

The panel on your saddle is the shock asorber, has it been flocked up recently or has the panel not got enough depth to do this due to no top line on your horse to carry the saddle sufficiently off the horse's back?
If the saddle fits and is flocked correctly if the panel allows it to be done (unless it's felt, foam or Cair, which can be adjusted well) it shouldn't be moving about.

I quite like prolite, it may seem a silly reason but if you stand on a tiled or wooden floor with bare feet and then stand on a prolite pad straight away they are really very comfy! I have used the prolite wither pad before as a make do thing for a week or two until i had the flocking on my saddle sorted and i was pleased with it.
