Which saddle!?

I’m going to be looking at a new saddle shortly for my Welsh x fresian mare…

As I’m quite tall and enjoy all round activities, I’m looking for something where I feel like I’m sat IN the saddle and not perched on top… also with a decent knee roll that is forward cut really.

She’s currently in a Kent and masters GP but looking for a new one now.

Brands I’m looking at are Voltaire, Albion, etc but are there any others?

Or do I stick with Kent and masters?

I am fairly tall and have long hip to knee bones.
I currently use on my two horses GFS Monarch and Jeffries F1 jump.
The GFS is adjustable and the Jeffries have fitted a number of different horses well. It seems to be one of useful saddles plus its super comfy.

Personally I find the Albions very uncomfortable but some people love them and I wouldn't buy a foam based saddle such as the Voltaire.

Do you have a saddler who can bring out a range of saddles so you can ensure it fits both you and the horse?

Find a saddle fitter with a range of saddles rather than getting tied up in which brand.

I’m another who also hates Albion saddles, my knees never sit right in them in 5 8 and a 17.5 Albion looks worse on my knees than my 16 inch Ideal saddle.
