Which saddlecloth would you choose?

I am doing a long distance ride tomorrow. Normally i use a thicker polypad for hacking as i think it has some shock absorbing qualities. Schooling I use a thin cotton pad. But it is so hot I am wondering if i should forfit the extra back protection for coolness? What are your thoughts?? Thanks.

If your saddle fits properly there really is no need for padding from a saddlecloth/numnah.
I am sure your saddle does fits correctly, so go for the lighter and cooler one.

For longer hacks when it's warm I choose a lighter or thinner saddlecloth.

ps yes saddle does fit - i should hope so as i have it checked at least twice a year! Pony soon lets me know if it doesnt as i am catapaulted over his head and onto mine!!!
