Hello,

Showing season is under way, and I think it is time to take my youngster out into to the big bad world!

She is a 16.1 (at the moment) Ardennes x warmblood. She has a bit of bone, but is quite fine with it. Quite nicely put together, but an odd colour! She is a blue/black roan. So I am wondering what classes to put her in, and what colour tweed!

I would put a pic up, but I have no idea how to!

Thanks in advance!

She wasn't crossed on purpose to be honest!

A friend had a pink papered Ardennes shipped over from a very reputable dealer in holland. On arrival to the uk, all was well, however she was getting bigger and bigger and bigger. grazing was reduced and work was upped, but this made no difference, and the vet was called. 2 weeks later, she foaled!

This mare was traveled and sold while in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy, and the breeder/dealer wanted nothing to do with us when we contacted her. Was very rude, told us to send the mare back(!) and told us that she could not possibly have been in foal when she was sent over. We only contacted her for info on her sire!

The lady also bred warmbloods, so with her being so fine, we presume her daddy is a warmblood.

But that is a whole other story lol. Luckily, she is very loved and turning out to be a cracking mare!
