I know, I know, a very very odd question!!!

I was lunging Donovan tonight and he was absolutely fine on the left rein, walk, trot, listening etc etc, but when I put him on the right rein I got about half a circle before he bucked, kicked, and generally threw a fit!!
Took him down to walk and he just wouldnt move, just stood there. Each time I asked him to move on, he took off at a real panic canter, and was really objecting to that rein. I put him back on the other one and he was fine, but when I took him back to the stable he had a huge pee. Thinking about it he has done this before on this rein, but cant remember if he had had a pee before.
So, hence my question! If his bladder was full it could cause him discomfort depending on where it lays. or thats my thinking!!!
