What size bridle do you get for your section a welshies? Mine has a very little head and has a small pony bride and that is too big...we had to put a knot in the throat lash! Do you think a Shetland will fit better? He is in a foal headcoller😊

You could try a Shetland but perhaps try other makes too. Jeffries pony caverson bridle comes up small. Or English bridle company will do made to measure or pick and mix of bridles.

I have a part bred sec A (sire sec A, dam Shetland x miniature horse). She has a Shetland size bridle and a small pony size headcollar.

If you have the cash to spare, Native Pony Bridles do both Pony and Shetland sized bridles with a smaller throatlash option for specifically this circumstance (and all the measurements of the various parts sizes are on their website so you can choose exactly the right combination to fit nicely).

I will have a look at all these...thank you! I wasn't sure if Shetland would be made for a shorter but chunky face?
