Which suppliment

Right im a little stuck with which suppliment to try on my mare.

When she starts to loose her winter/summer coat she gets stressy when ridden, it starts with her stopping to itch her side and then goes on to full body shakes while throwning head forwards, pulling me forward, she does it even more when going down hill.
This year she is even worse than before, she does all of the above, plus now doesn't want to walk out when is in the lead and becomes a kick kick ponio, but also doesn't want her field mate/boyfriend in the lead and throws herself about in a strop.
Then when we start to turn for home she isn't as bad, jogs alot, if i stop her she goes sideways, she still has a shake a few times but is just more eager to get home.

So i just do not look forward to riding her, as it is just not fun at all, but i can't decide if it is because she is itchy or just that she is a stroppy c*w
Anyone had anything like this before and what did they do to sort it out, i thought about trying some Naf d-itch or the global herbs skratch or going for the other route and going for a stroppy mare suppliment.
Any help advice will be greatly taken on board as i am at my wits end with her.

Can't help you on the coat but for mare suppliments Global Herbs Frisky Mare Plus is AMAZING! As are all of the other products I've tried from them so would think the Skratch would work too!
(I don't work for them/not being paid to say this!!!)
 
Not sure about the supplements but my advise would be an awful lot of brushing before you ride! Get as much of the loose stuff out as you can to reduce the itchiness as much as you can for her...lots of elbow grease required.
I think Feedmark do a skin/coat supplement, can't remember the name but will be on their websist, a friend of mine used it & it worked well.
 
I always give her a good brush before riding, and give her saddle area more attention. It doesn't seem to make a lot of difference.
I've called Global herbs and they have recomended skratch, and also that i use a leather girth instead of my cotton one, as the cotton will hold the sweat and hairs.
So i will have a bash at this and see if there is any difference.
