Which test first EMS or X rays?

So improvement is coming slowly. Sound on the soft but not on stones. Doesnt like turning sharply.

Do we continue as is with in / soaked hay bute, test for EMS or X ray?

Vet booked to EMS test Thursday but pony needle phobic so I am not looking forwards to trying to get the blood

What is more useful the EMS test or the X rays and how does each one help / affect the treatment and recovery period ?

My old lady has cushings and when she has a lammy flare up or has had an attack we always x ray first then check her ACTH levels after we see if there is more rotation.
