which way to face kennel?

as title; I have moved house dog kennel and run needs putting up, the kennel and run are 4x8, the kennel part is 3x4 (has a heat lamp) the run part has a solid roof and back to it.
the sun rises to the left of the bottom end of the garden- so in relation to the sun and where it rises which way would be better for the kennel to face?
i really want to avoid it facing the bottom of the garden as i dont like my lurcher to be visible to anyone who creeps down the private track. once the kennel is in it will be having the run extended so which side of the kennel would that be best on too?

Runs dry quicker if they face south or west.
