Which wormer? advice please, ta!

With a new horse coming to the yard i need to give a wormer but have got a bit lost in the new ways, times etc.
Can anyone recommend a good all round wormer to give this horse at this time of year?

equimax or equest pramox is good for Autumn.

I know pramox is good as it covers everything but keep hearing bad things about the higher risk of colic after giving it.
