I would go for B - personally, I could never keep my horse somewhere I didn't trust the people looking after him (rules out A for me). Also, it appears to have the fewest negatives all around.

2 acres for 9 mares sharing would write Yard A off, right away IMO; regardless of the other issues. And no hacking from Yard C, plus being very expensive, would put me off that option too. Defo Yard B for me.

B

because £350 a month is WAY too much for DIY and i couldnt keep my horse somewhere where i didnt trust the people and that had 9 mares out on 2 acres, and yard C the fact there is no hacking would put me off....and i dont even hack..

Definitely not A - Far too big and I can't believe the price! I think your gut instinct will tell you and the main thing is your horse's happiness.

Yup, 350 a month
Breakdown of 50 per week stable - £200
Facility charge - £40
Hay and Haylage £48
1 Indoor plus lights a week £24.00
Trailer storage - £24.00
So that average without asking for extras like turnout and bring in, i am considering Yard B to be the best option

Yard A - £350 a month????? How the hell can they ever justify that

I'd want central heated stables, cooler systems, a solarium and an equine pool, not to mention a XC course, gallop and no roads to ride on within 5 mile radius - oh yes, and 20ft x 20ft stables!

I am flabbergasted!

i'd also expect a lovely hot cup of tea waiting for me after every ride, which i would sip at the same time as having muscular, topless, hot men massage me from head to toe...

I think I have an idea which yard A is, and didn't have any idea it cost anywhere near that amount to stable there!!

Yard B sounds great, I'd go with that if you already have friends there, and the hacking/turnout sounds a lot better.

If you really want to know where Yard A is, it is the yard i have been on for the last 4yrs and they still treat every diy and livery like we dont deserve to be there. PM me if you need to avoid them, its a very well known place in my area.
