I'm having trouble deciding which yard would be best.
Which yard would you choose?
One horse = unrideable. One horse = Does local competing and general all-rounder

Yard 1. = £18 per week per horse. = 3 miles from home.
-Outdoor school - good, well-kept surface, 80 x 50m and floodlights
-cross country fences from Mini - Open
-livery available with/without stable
- livery available with/without field shelter
- buy hay from YO at £25 per bale - option to share with other owners.
- option of being in a herd or individual paddocks
- no trailer parking
- regular competitions held onsite

Yard 2. = £12 per week per horse = 8 miles from home
- on way to work
- small, friendly yard
-school - good, flat area sectioned off in unused part of a field.
-show jumps available to use
- use of a stable daily although an extra charge if horse stays in overnight
- fields are in open and no shelter
- must supply own hay (easy to get good quality hay for £25 per bale)
- plenty of storage in barn for all of my required hay
- individual paddocks only. my 2 horses would be in together so not a problem
- free trailer parking
- a couple of small competitions held onsite

Yard 1 sounds better for not much extra money - but I think with all yards it depends a lot on the people so go with your gut instinct on that.
