gutted.

not going to push my luck and ride too soon, but really hoping it goes soon!

anyone else had whiplash and were you out of action in terms of riding for long?

Yes I had it when a youngster had a mega bucking fit! It was okay for about a day after then after that - agony!! It hurt all my jaw as well though and I'm afraid to say lasted I think 7- 10 days. I didn't do anything different and carried on riding by taking loads of painkillers - and i mean loads! So good luck to you, hopefully yours will clear up quicker if you don't make it worse by riding!

I had a car accident just over a year ago resulting in whiplash to my neck and spine.I was not allowed to ride for about 10 weeks and tbh I was too sore to try. When I did return to riding I was told only to stick to slower paces and no jumping.I find that walk and trot is fine but even now if I go for a canter it causes me discomfort afterwards and I haven't even attempted to jump because of that.
