Can anyone tell me if you think charlie is a whippet or lurcher. Got him from rescue centre he is 15 month, Im thinking lurcher with alot of whippet in him vet thinks same but eveyone else is saying whippet. I dont matter either way as he is a really nice dog. He just seems very strong for a whippet.

Sorry dont know how to re size.

His body says all whippet to me but there is just 'something' about his head that makes me think there might be a spot of something else in there...

His head looks just a fraction too 'coarse' for pure whippet (not saying he isn't handsome - he is gorgeous).

But he does look very very like a pure whippet.

ETA - My mum just took a look at him and said to check his tail - apparently a lot of lurcher/whippets have a more 'bushy/rougher' tail than pure whippet.

Agree looks whippety but something slightly awry with his head...... in a nice way! Without one in front of me it's hard to compare but whippets have a slightly more domed forehead maybe? He is an absolute poppet whatever. Is he as cheeky as he looks?

My Lurcher pup made friends with the paper boys 4 yr old dog the other morning, he looked like a Lurcher to me albeit a bit small as he was the size of my 7 mth old Deerhound x beddlington. The young boy said he was a Greyhound x Whippet and he had the same face as your boy, with those huge gorgeous eyes

Without wishing to copy everyone else, I would say lurcher with a high % of whippet in him - as others have said, the head doesnt quite seem pure whippet to me?

Although that is no disrespect to him, I think that he is absolutely gorgeous and I would offer him a home at any time

Im saying full whippet, he is the double of 2 racing whippets I saw at the greyhound/whippet rescue yesterday, when I was collecting a lurcher, same colour and everything, I could be wrong, but I would say 100% whippet.
