Hi my boyfriend has recently bought a puppy whippet and we were wondering what is the best food for him.
We currently feed him on James well-being biscuits and wet food.
Suggestions will be gratefully received.

Lots of people on here will be able to advise. Congratulations on getting a puppy!

If its James Wellbeloved that you are feeding then it's a complete food and you don't need to add meat (do you mean actual meat or tinned dog food)
There are alot of raw feeders on here which seems great for most dogs - I'm hoping to change over myself next year once I fully understand it all :)
James Wellbeloved/skinners duck and rice/fish4dogs are the good dried foods IMO

lots of congrats on your new puppy, i have 7 whippets ranging from 12 years to 7 months, james wellbeloved is a good food and i too add a small amount of tinned food to the 3 of mine that have complete, the others have a hand full of complete in the morning and then tripe, lamb or chicken for tea which at the moment i buy from pets at home, the 3 that have the complete wont eat raw meat
so my advice is if he's happy eating JW leave him be,
feel free to pm me if you need any advice, iv been owned by whippets for nearly 17 years.

my gang :)
