whiskey/whisper of islay ( highland pony peeps!!!)

since i have had poppy i have searched and searched for her dam and sire. all her previous owners could tell me was tht her mum was caller either whiskey or whisper of islay?? poppy was born 1st july 1997. when i think way back im sure i saw a pic of her mum as a yellow/fox dun.

any ideas where i might find out or have any of you heard of this mare??

This is probably a long shot and not relevant but there is a Highland breeder on the isle of Islay - I just wondered if there was Islay in her name could be she came from there.

On tabithakats post lower down asking for CC of a Highland pony she mentions he has Islay bloodlines so may be able to help you.
