Anyone form these areas or there about?

May be looking to relocate, and wondering what the 'horse scene' is like.

Livery costs (DIY and part/full livery), where to ride, competition venues and instructors (an idea of cost per session would be very helpful) and any other useful information would be much appreciated.

Chocolate cookies and fresh coffee on offer:)

I'm not from there, but I was in Malpas at the weekend looking at a pony, and there were horses everywhere. So from what I've seen and heard from the people I met there, it has a big horsey scene. :)

I live near Whitchurch we have a livery yard. There is tushingham arena reaseheath all close by. If you want any info message me. Expect to pay around £110 a week for full livery £30-40 for assisted DIY. £60 for part livery.

I live in the area , ours are kept at home but there are loads of livery yards and as edenwood says tushingham is a good local venue, and there is also Prescott equestrian centre which I think still runs shows. Maelor Riding Club covers the area, they have a fb page it would probably be worth a look. Oh and by the way its Whixall without the h! :)

I grew up in Malpas, now live in Whitchurch, my horse is currently stabled in Whixall (but moves to Malpas tomorrow)! Very horsey area with plenty of comp places locally, Tushingham being just outside Whitchurch. They've just started up a riding club with lots of comps and clinics.

Livery costs £25 DIY, I'm moving on to part livery for £50 per week Inc haylage, turn out and bring in daily and a morning feed put in. Same yard is offering full for £85 per week which is cheap for the area. PM if anything you want to know :)

Bad me! I totally forgot I had started this post, so sorry to everyone that replied, thank you for your input I may well be pm'ing some of you!
