White Breeches?

I just bought my first pair of white breeches and I am having trouble with tucking a show shirt in without it showing all bundled up at the top of the breeches. What do you do to avoid your tucked in shirt from showing? Also the pockets show through also and that's kind of annoying anything to make them show less? Also why white out of all the colors?! Thank you for the suggestions

Your breeches sound a bit see through? What make are they?

A tailored show shirt helps as there is less bulk. And obviously white so there is no colour issue. For the pockets I suppose you could cut them out?

My daughter has competed in white breeches for the last 10 years and we haven't had issues with tucked in shirts or pockets (Does the jacket not cover that anyway?). The only issue we had was the period of time when the lucky knickers were rainbow. (Don't go there...)
