I'm on the look out for some new white brushing boots to warm up in at competitions. I want some that wear well and come up white in the wash that aren't going to go yellow after a few washes. So far I'm looking at the woof wear double lock boots and the fleece lined le mieux. I prefer the look of the le mieux but am worried that the natural fleece lining will stain very easily??? Any recommendations please!

I think Woofs are pretty tried and true. I love the Le Mieux products, but haven't got any experience with these boots. I have the NEW fleece lined boots purely as my competition boots. They are a smooth outer which makes wiping them clean between warm ups easy and they wash up brilliantly :)

I've found that the Premier Equine brushing boots (the synthetic leather ones) come up a treat in the washing machine, even if they're covered in mud and cinders a quick 40 degree wash and they're bright white again.

I was given the white woof wear brushing boots for Christmas, but haven't used them yet as scared to get them dirty :p

No point saving the best china just to look at is what my Grandma used to say. Use them, they wash up fine :D

I really like the Equilibrium stretch and flex. Just chuck them in the washing machine. The only thing is they don't offer a huge amount of brush protection, just for minor scuffs I'd imagine.

But, they are just so clean! And white! Bill has muddy legs & a sand arena. Too scared will stain them :p

Problem is also that I really need to use the boots, as the current set am using are the odd and ends woof boots, the mouse eaten set eg. have 2 left boots (one green one red!) on the front legs - we look like a landing strip :p
why is it that only one boot of a pair breaks/gets eaten?!

I've got Woof club boots in white, had them years and they come up almost as good as new in my washing machine. I put some vanish powder (sensitive skin version) in with my competition whites just to give them a bit of help staying nice

I've had a set of white woof wear for about 5years. They're used every day for hacking, jumping & dressage, they go in the washing machine and they're still as good as new!

My everyday boots are white woof club boots, I bought the second hand so they have had a good bit of use! They always wash up well and if I got my act together and washed them prior to competitions I would happily wear them to warm up.
I also have a set of the Equilibrium boots, also second hand, they aren't so robust at washing up well but they do the job at home.

I am so impressed with the woof wear boots! I braved the front pair of white ones today (not brave enough to put on back as well!) in the sand school, which was still a bit wet.

This is the before:

And after a hard 45min session they are still sparkling where the sand hasn't hit - very impressed! Also please ignore hairy fetlocks, they will be going soon :p

Definitely recommend these boots OP :)

My fav brushing boots are the woof wear club boots although haven't tried them in white. I also like the equilibrium stretch and flex, to get them really white I soak them in vanish first the wash with vanish added too. They've come up lovely so far.

I've used white Woof Wear club boots for warming up and lessons for a couple of years now, still clean up lovely. I was given a pair of LeMieux brushing boots as they were "smarter" and they are rubbish, the edges have all curled up and make them really awkward to put on - so have gone back to the WW ones!
