Am I the only one that wears cream gloves for dressage?!

Seems alot of ppl wear darker colours so as to not show up slight hand movements so much, I cant believe it would make that much difference though, would it?!?!

Ive always worn cream/buff coloured gloves for dressage, but then have always had quite soft still hands....

Also Roeckl gloves - I cant remember the sizings!

Yes to the sizings as have just measured my hand as I take a 9. It is thumb to little finger.

I use the caramel gloves absolutely love them. Show up less dirt than white/cream.

White gloves draw the judges eyes to your hands - they stand out a little more so if you have nice, giving but supporting hands then sure as hell wear them!

Yes I also wear cream breeches and shirt and stock!

I do wear blue chesters for BE dressage though to match my blue stock and hat!

Have bought some Roeckl XC gloves in blue which I have for XC, for every day use - needed some hard wearing gloves for every day use

I wear white roeckl gloves but someone once commented that from a distance all they could see were my white gloves going around in the warm up??

My shoes are also a 4 but im about a size 6.5/7 glove? Im sure Im not that deformed.............lol

To measure your size for these gloves you measure in inches from the base of your hand and up to the tip of your longest finger (should be middle one). this gives you the size.

I wear white or cream Roeckl depending on which breeches/stock I'm wearing.

I wear a 7.5 in every day gloves, 7 in Chesters for some strange reason and wear a size 5 shoe

ok now im WELL confused, im just under 4inches so im a size 4 is that right?! (blonde...sorry!!!!)
need to get some new roeckls for showing, still trying to decide between the canary colour or brown. Hard decisions i know!!!! (rolls eyes at oneself!!!!)

i'm a 7.5 (and in shoe size but i think that's just a coincidence really). 7.5 in surgical gloves too. i would say our average female is around a 6.5 - if you've got especially small hands then you might be a 6, if you've got bigger hands or long fingers like i have then you'll need 7 or 7.5 - it's normally men who need 8 or bigger and they can be more difficult to find. why not just go to a shop who stocks them and try them on.
