White horse shampoo?

I normally use cheapo own brand Tesco/Asda shampoo on my horses which does a good enough job on my grey (white!) horse but his tail can still be a bit yellow tinged...

Please recommend your tips / products etc. to make him super white! Thanks

asda citrus shampoo.
mine has black tail so no idea what to use on white ones!
we always get asked what i scrub her in to get the white ares white.
will spray on abit of red rum whitener spray if shes still got any none white bits remaining post scrub.

Another vote for a non bio washing tablet (or soap flakes) in a bucket just for the bottom of the tail.

I have had a few of those purple tinged 'grey horse shampoos', and not that impressed really. An ordinary one is just as good.
