White like small maggots in dung

Can anyone tell me what worm this is please. My friend has just bought a horse yesterday. Pooh picked field tonight. Pooh has lots of white maggots in. Phones me I can't find any pics on internet that I can identify with any help please.?

Flies and other beasties lay their eggs in poo, I'd guess that's what they are. If you're worried about worms, I'd get the poo worm-counted by Westgate labs

i found some of these tonight - most definatley maggots......the flies are rife at the moment and the eggs hatch ultra fast!!

Sorry for late reply computer crashed after I'd posted only just got back on. Have explained in New Lounge as posted there as well. Yes Maisy we think they are fly eggs. Turns out my friend has left her horse at the same place he was when she bought him and she went to pooh pick field and found all these maggots. Rang me from field (which I thought would have been pooh picked everyday) apparently not. Don't think he will be there for long.

Thank you all for your replies. It was just that I've never found anything in my horses pooh which I check everyday. Fly eggs take 10 days to hatch.
