white mark in eye

Hi all, my boy has acquired a white mark at the back of his eye. It has only got slightly bigger over the week. He is fine in himself, there is no puss or swelling and he doesn't shy away when you go near so I don't think it is painful. He is 18.

Can you send the picture to your vet for a look? It looks a bit like the horse with the worm in it's eye, I'll see if I can find it.

Veterinary pics thread, post 138 I think and post 29 has a similar looking mark that turned out to be cancer.

With the best will in the world - a forum isn't the place to ask this. Show it to your vet. Eyes are not something to mess about with. If there is a problem the sooner it is dealt with the better. And if there isn't you'll save yourself a lot of worry!
