white or beige breeches?

I have been out of the competing scene for a few years and as I am now buying some competing breeches, should these be beige or white? Or does it matter? I am looking to do some low level eventing and dressage.

I believe to do BE you are meant to wear Beige whereas with dressage its either

Beige, they don't get dirty as quickly as white

White! just to go against the grain.

I personally prefer white but I do dressage. It would also depend on your figure. Beige is more flattering for chunkier people as white shows all your lumps and bumps.

For BE - beige is the norm at the lower levels. I BE in beige and dressage in white
