Hello!
One of my horses has previous bandage rubs on his leg from bandaging a previous injury - he was a bad patient and was box walking a lot which ended up in a few small bandage rubs.
They were very very minor and caused no issues, but frustratingly they have grown back in small white scars! So his legs currently look silly with white spots all of them.

Is there anything I can do to get the hair to grow back to black/dark bay?
Or Is there anything I can cover with semi/permanent etc?

Thanks

You can dye it. It's not legal for affiliated showing, I don't think, but I've heard of plenty of people doing it.

Well you learn something new everyday! I'd only heard of the (very) old fashioned way of using boot polish to cover old scars and white hair for the show ring, not that you could actually dye the horse's coat!

So I typed into Google, and this site came up - they literally sell a rainbow of coloured dyes for use on horses - and they have brown and black as well. I had no idea! ?
