Is this exceptable for (lower level) dressage?

I was just wondering what your opinions are, as I was looking through photographer pics from recent competitions and kept noticing this combination.

I though it was only exceptable to wear a coloured stock with tweed but, I must admit I dont think it looks that bad :| Will I get shot down for doing this ?

Or am I just being silly :)
(feel free to tell me I am!)

Its acceptable but I wouldn't do it. Think it looks odd myself lol although some of the tweed/stock colour combo's I've seen about have been equally as bad!! I think its personal choice really :)

I know that a coloured stock is normal with tweed, but, I don't think it looks that bad either. However, cream/ivory looks less glaring than snow-white.

tattersall is ok - and that's mostly a light cream/buff colour - if you did want to go light :)
white though would look a bit odd but if its all you've got go for it :)

oh no! I have been wearing a white stock with grey tweed, is that not good then either? I have a white horse and black tack and I thought the monochrome look was quite fetching... oops

Yes it's acceptable.

I wouldn't pair white with tweed but that's just my own personal pref, buff breaches and and a dark cream or navey stock yes, basically wear what you want or what you have, provinding it's smart and within the rules.

Does anybody really take that much notice of what others are wearing when your competing your self, I know I don't, I'm too busy warming or seeing to my horse .... or gasing to friends :D

I didnt know there was a rule... I wear a light grey tweed with white jods and white stock (in my siggie) Ive never been told not to wear that combo... thought it looked quite smart xxx
