Well, i have always heard that you should never buy a horse which shows the whites of his eyes normally (just a myth i think lol!)
Just wondering if anyone elses horses showed them, Harry does, but i have noticed most horses eyes are all of a dark colour normally.
Sorry, pointless post, just interested lol

You can see on this photo of harry

Yep G has one white eye, some say it is a sign of a good horse, others say it is a sign of stubborness. IMO, my boy shows a bit of both!!

His is due to his "thrid" eyelid being white instead of a dark colour, which prob comes from him being coloured.... Don't like full on "pig" eyes though.

Yes a few of mine show the whites, these are ones who are coloured though, and they are all lovely horses so I don't believe in the myth.

Harry is Liver chestnut, is it strange for a solid coloured horse to have eyes like his?
His actual eyes is a dark brown with a bit of hazel in it, just its white round the edges.

It's a breed characteristic of Appaloosas that they should have a white Schlera (sp) makes them look like they have human eyes

theres this bay overgrown show pony called dazzler and he is a complete nervy nutjob, you tense up slightly on him and he just gets faster and faster until he is bolting around the menage. he always shows the whites even in the stable, when he's bolting he shows no whites

Murph is a liver chestnut, very similar colour to Harry, and he has one eye which shows white. I have heard that it means a good horse, which he is, tho also can be quite stubborn, and pulls some horrible faces.
