Whittaker summer waterproof turnout - not so waterproof!

Hi

I bought a whittaker light weight turnout from those irish guys (from holmstead saddlery I think) who advertise in H&H and hold big sales all over the country. The first day I put the rug on, which is supposed to be waterproof - my boy got soaked!

Does anyone else have one of these rugs? Charlie was as wet under the rug as it was on top of the rug!

I too fell foul to this a few years ago-I avoid their sales now!

Victoria - as you have no comeback with the retailers ( well unless you paid by card in which case you can claim back through your credit card company) you should go the the manufacturesi.e. whatakers - I'm sure they wouldn't want an unhappy customer out there- give it a go - at the end of the day it is a faulty product!
