A show with in hand classes for young stock, coloured (including spots) or just 'fun' classes in April/May less than 1 hours drive from Saffron Walden in Essex in April/May??

Desperate to get my youngster out and about to some local shows.

Been searching everywhere for weeks and can't find anything!

Yep! Can't find anything!

Really don't want to travel more than an 1 1/2 hrs each way as it will be first time out and don't want to over-do it :/

Plenty of big yards/equestrian centres but all seem to only cater to show jumping or dressage

Have you tried Horse&Hounds - Find horse shows and horse events in your local area in the Horse & Hound shows database?

Sorry, I have no idea about how long time it takes to drive, is Ipswich to far? Farming uk - Agricultural shows and events - Woodbridge horse show. If it is, perhaps you could find something else on that site?

This site also says it can help searching for horse shows and events in your local area Equiportal - Use your postcode to find horse shows and equestrian events in your local area. Since I have no idea about any post codes in the UK, I couldn't try it myself.
