Who can I buy event horses from?

Where are you in the country !! my sister sells event horses and has excellent contacts through out the eventing world so if she hasn't got what you wan't then she will know someone who does and the kind of horse that will suit you.

I think most event horses are unofficially for sale if I'm honest. If you see something you like it's always worth asking. I know I would sell mine if someone offered the right price - but they're not officially up for sale if you get my drift?

That's quite true, I used to sell a quite a few youngsters at competitions without advertising them (goes for showjumping and dressage as well). If you draw a blank then it's always worth going to a competition and if you see something you like then it's always worth asking - even if the owners are not looking to sell they will still be flattered.

If your after a green youngster to bring on then you could try Irish horse imports in Berkshire, or Mark Bosanko in Devon imports some nice horses from Holland.
Or you could try the Billy Stud.
