no replies in NL so I thought I would try my luck with you guys!

I am just curious which manufacturers will do mix and match bridles, I know Jeffries do but is a bit too expensive for a mare who likes to eat bits of leather at every opportunity! but equally want a niceish bridle for competing in, current comp bridle is a £30 loveson job that is going to be downgraded for every day.

The mare has a long fine face so really needs a cob head piece and browband but pony cheeks and noseband!

looking to spend bout £70 maybe without reins

thank you, and I have a big pouch of maltesers on the go! :D ;)

They made Joe up one with all different sized pieces. I send them the measurements of his old bridle and they sent the parts I needed, the noseband was not right so they changed it - they were brilliant to deal with and the leather is very good for the price and just on your budget.

The other make I have had it Dever, but all the parts might come over your budget asI know the grackle I got last year was nealy £40 on its own.

LOVE love love my Kate Negus bridle and you can buy each part separately and mix and match to get correct sizing. She also does m2m.

Well worth the money!

choice  nearest only does jeffries in bits R which is a bit too ££, am going to take a trip to one a bit further away that does but they tend to be a bit expensive too.

Albion do as have one mix &matched for my boy but they are expensive, but well worth it, its beautiful!!

until the darn animal chomps on it! after enough wear and cleaning (years) the chunks seem to disappear.. I have her very original (7 years ago!) cheapy on my welshie and it looked rough to start but fine now! You should have seen us trying to keep the one we were trying on her for fit today well away from her gob!

Love my Kate Negus bridle was well worth the pennies. Our local saddlery do various sizes to mix and match, not sure if they have a website, Risley Saddlery. It might also be worth looking at Matty Marlow Heritage Saddlery on ebay, he may do made to measure but not sure

pmsl, I expect they do but I'm not trekking all the way down to unicorn! am going to stop in murphs on the way home on monday ;). Alwaysbroke matt will do m2m not pieces so it works out a bit more, Risley def have a website so I will have a look there too :) thanks
