Owning a good doer with a unclipped coat at the moment we're not rugging him in stable, mind you this is the first night he's been in so he may need a lightweight one on purely to keep him clean!!

Who else doesn't rug when in?

That's good to know, the stable is a indoor one anyway so no draughts xx

mine have dual purpose in and out rugs , FAL and Rambos. work a treat, horses all snuggly and warm. wet rugs are dry within 1.5 hours. no wet dirty rugs to grapple with, and best bonus they never smell!!

My unclipped cob has no rug on (she's being clipped on Saturday), other good doer cob had a blanket clip last weekend and had a lightweight no fill rug on.

Mine live in their turnouts. Saves valuable time in the mornings not having to change rugs and wet rugs dry so much better if left on in the stable.

Fany is unclipped, shaggy and unrugged at present. She doesn't have a stable rug, if it gets cold she has a fleece. But they are keep in indoors stables.

Cappy has his PJs, mainly because he has a thinnish coat and also he does not have turnout during winter, his choice not mine. He loves his stable and stable rugs!

Don't use stable rugs - horse lives in turnout rug in and out of stable. He's fully clipped.

Only has different rugs on - thermatex and fleece when he comes home from hunting and needs to dry off after being washed off.
