My cob has been casting her coat for the past week, its coming off in handfuls and everything is covered in white hairs!!
Still, a sure sign spring is on its way :) even though we have this cold snap

I wish. Mine tries very hard to hold on to his winter coat until at least July  He's usually clipped right out (cruel owner :D) but he injured himself last Sept so hasn't been. I'm really not looking forward to the moulting :( :( :(

yep, my two older lads are moulting... Darach's not yet though... His top layer is still mostly mud!

Nope. Wish he would; he was clipped in mid November and still looks as though it was done yesterday. He hangs on to it for months, so at this rate I'll still have clip lines in August.

Not quite ready for that just yet;):D This was this morning.

Yes, the mahogany summer coat is starting to show through my cob's conker-coloured winter coat, and the long hair's starting to drift off her legs. Only the TB is hanging on to his coat. and all the primroses are out!!

and all the primroses are out!!

 Nothing, but nothing is doing anything dumb enough like even shooting here just yet.

Twelve hours ago it looked like this and was minus something or other, just been out to do evening stables (11.30 ish) and it is +7C and the snow has gone, vanished into muddy puddles which will no doubt be sheet ice if the temperature drops. This winter is all to cock.

And I've just done evening stables tonight, midnight, and the temp has dropped to -8C. All outside taps frozen so endless trips from the house with buckets of water. Haven't got time to look at the primroses any more!
